REFLECTION!

This assignment was difficult to remembe to do often. I did all the data the day of because I didn't want to forget anything. I feel that it is clear how important the internet is for doing research to help gain more knowledge or fill in the gaps when I need to study for tests. Blackboard was only used for syllabus checking, which is a waste, and obviously moodle is much better. Direct communication was pretty limited actually, because I rarely study with other people but I do ask certain teachers questions often (especially my philosophy teacher). I got no outside tutoring- because where do you get it anyway? I spent a lot of time in the library, because it helps me focus much better than I'm in my room, because there are no other people, no myspace, and no music, and no phone, and no instant messaging. In other words, certain technology certainly messes with studying, but the internet alone is a great asset.

I think my first comment was up before the reflection. Your reflection brings together your mini-research project nicely. It's apparent that the university environment gives all sorts of avenues for communication. It's also clear that most of those of your generation will take advantage of internet opportunities to learn and to extend class and face-to-face learning. Your observation about your own personal learning style with technology is interesting - it seems different from many of your peers.

card industry. The North American market appears ready
for significant expansion of price-competitive, proven,
multi-application solutions on smart cards. Apometrix's
forecast of over 300 customers and sales of more than $50
million in North America over the next five years, appears
very realistic, according to company management.
